Asia's two little pups have been adopted and are with their new family. We are hoping to have more puppies in the next 3-6 months, so check back with us then. In the mean time, we do have some puppies from another breeder on our "Available Puppies" page that need homes, so go take a look :)
Yes we are a MERLE friendly site! Please take a look at our Merle Info page if you would like to know more about these beautiful dogs.

My name is Maranda Tilley. I am now, the mother of 5 kids and 5 chihuahuas! Tuff 'n' Tiny Chihuahuas is my project, but it takes a family to do it. Especially a lot of help from my husband, Nick. He is invaluable. He helps me do everything that I have to do, so that I can do some of the things that I want to do, like the chihuahuas and scrapbooking :) The beautiful dog in the picture is Asia's and Sophie's dam.
We are located in beautiful southern Utah, Cedar City to be specific. We frequently visit Salt Lake City, and Provo, as well as Las Vegas Nevada. We breed AKC long coat and short coat chihuahuas. We have a variety of colors, including MERLES! We look for personality and disposition in our dogs, while trying to achieve the perfect AKC standard chihuahua. All of our puppies are covered with a 1 year genetic health guarantee which you can read under the Puppy Contract button. They also come from a home with little kids, and we raise them in our living room, so they are well adjusted to the sights and sounds a busy family life.
We make sure that they are well socialized. Our children hold and handle our puppies on a daily basis and any time we have company, the puppies are a main attraction. Your puppy will be more than ready for all the attention from a new family too. All our puppies come with shots up to date, dewclaws removed and they are started on pee pad training.
We do deworm our puppies but it is somewhat of an unconventional method. We have found diatomaceous earth, or DE to be a safe, effective, and holistic approach to deworming our dogs. The DE consists of fossilized remains of diatoms, a type of hard-shelled algae. It's effectiveness is due to the razor sharp edges of the diatom remains. When the DE comes in contact with the parasite or insect, the diatoms lacerate the bugs waxy exoskeleton, and then the powdery DE absorbs the insects fluids causing death by dehydration. The DE works in a purely "mechanical" manner, not "chemical". Therefore, you have no toxic side effects and the parasites don't build up a resistance to it. Both of which are major drawbacks of traditional dewormers.
Diatomaceous earth has been used for over two decades as an anti parasite supplement for livestock. Users report complete control and eradication of the parasites and insects. DE can also be used as a flea, tick, mite, and lice powder by dusting it on your pet's coat. For internal parasites, the DE needs to be fed for a period of time long enough to catch all of the unhatched eggs. One week is sufficient to exterminate the most common internal parasites, however, there are other parasites that have longer life cycles, like lung worms. When you receive your puppy, they will have been feed DE for at least 2 weeks. You will need to continue a deworming schedule with them. We obviously recommend continuing to feed DE for another 60 to 90 days to complete the deworming.
We are also proud to say that as a result of much research, we alternate feeding our dogs “Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover’s Soul” and "Earthborne Holistic". We have found this combination to be what works best for us and our dogs as well as our budget. "Chicken Soup" has human grade ingredients and multiple protein sources with no artificial preservatives. The "Earthborne" is the grain free variety food and has quality protien sources that are easy to digest and lots of fruits and veggies. Most of the information that we based our decision on came from dogfoodproject.com. It is an excellent website with tons of information to help you select a good healthy dog food that’s right for your specific dog. We also supplement their diet with fresh fruits and veggies, as well as whole grain breads and rice. Our moms and puppies get extra treats to help them get all the protein they need like hamburger, chicken, turkey and scrambled eggs.
All of our dogs have access to a doggie door as well as a pee pad. They sleep in their kennels at night, and have the run of the house and the back yard during the day (when the weather is nice). Our dogs are PETS, not kennel dogs. They are only in their kennels at night. We do have a doggie room where they hang out while we are out of the house, but if we're home, they are running around.
This is just a short summary about us, but please feel free to contact us with any questions or comments that you might have. Thanks for looking!
1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years, or even 20! Any separation from you is likely to be painful. Please don't ever give me away.
2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.
3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.
4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment, but I have only you.
5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when you speak to me.
6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.
7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet, I choose not to bite you.
8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long, or I have an upset tummy.
9. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too, will grow old.
10 On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I love you so much.
*Take a moment today to thank GOD for your pets. Enjoy and take good care of them. Life would be a much duller, less joyful experience without God's critters.
